Job Description

Delta is seeking a Field Application Engineer for Industrial Automation in the UK and Ireland. The ideal candidate will have experience working with OEMs, system integrators, and panel builders.

Responsibilities

Executing product introduction projects and related campaigns.
Supporting customers and distributors with product installation and technical issues.
Reviewing and proposing solutions for projects.
Undertaking project management and job allocation.
Conducting site surveys and assisting in quality diagnoses.
Supporting pre-sales and after-sales activities.
Creating industrial automation architectures.
Assisting in machine development and PLC programming.
Undertaking robotics sizing and programming.

Qualifications

5-10 years of relevant experience in engineering.
Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Excellent computer skills including CODESYS knowledge.
Problem-solving skills and good communication abilities.
Ability to travel and work autonomously.
