Job Description

Join our team as Transport Shift Manager within our Group Transport sector, for our customer Sainsburys, based at Hams Hall, Birmingham. Lead a team of Transport Team Managers, Clerical and Driver colleagues to ensure delivery, productivity, and financial performance indicators are met.

Responsibilities

Internal and external stakeholder communication
Encourage feedback and ideas within the team
Drive CI and hold high personal standards
Lead, coach and develop the team
Responsible for delivery in productivity and KPI performances within transport
Ensure on-time delivery within H&S standards
H&S responsibilities

Qualifications

In-depth experience in transport operations at management level
Full knowledge of transport Legislation
Experienced in people management and leadership
Commercially focused
Experience of working towards strict deadlines
Experience of a unionized environment is beneficial
