Job Description

Join our management team as an Assistant Practice Operations Manager to provide leadership and management for Tower Hamlets Practices.

Responsibilities

Deputise for the Senior Practice Operations Manager in their absence
Manage day-to-day operational issues
Oversee line management of non-clinical team
Attend practice meetings and take minutes
Maintain staff cover during surgery hours
Allocate tasks requested by healthcare team members
Deal with staff issues affecting the working environment
Maintain administrative systems and recommend improvements
Review and update practice protocols
Maintain clinical registers and oversee call/recall process

Qualifications

Educated to degree level or equivalent
Strong people management and budget management skills
Experience in primary care and multi-disciplinary team work
Proven leadership and communication skills
Sound decision-making abilities
