Job Description

Bright Start Children's Centre Services within Bath and North East Somerset are seeking a highly-committed Family Support Practitioner Level IV (Lead Family Support Worker) to cover a year's maternity leave. The role involves project management and working with a professional team to improve the lives of families in the community.

Responsibilities

Ensure quality learning opportunities for children aged 0-5 years accessing Children's Centre services
Lead the delivery of Flying Start - Home Learning across Bright Start Children's Centre Services
Support childcare practitioners and safeguarding decisions
Work with families on Child Protection or Child in need plans
Collaborate with other agencies to provide consistent support for children

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children from complex families, project management skills, and the ability to supervise staff effectively. Passion for supporting community growth is essential.
