Sales is all about building relationships with new or existing clients, understanding their difficulties and then discussing how our products/services can help them. This might be over the phone, email or in face-to-face meetings.
It could be that your role is new business focused i.e. contacting new clients and trying to build a relationship where one does not already exist. Or the role could be account management focused i.e. contacting existing clients and looking at ways to grow the business even further.
We will train you to know our products/services in great detail, understand our competitors and learn about the markets in which you will be operating. Initially you would shadow other members of the team. By month 3 we would aim for you to start speaking to customers directly. It will take time but we will support you.
