Job Description

Join the West Midlands Police Complex Enquiries Team as a Police Staff Investigating Officer for a fixed term contract. Support child abuse investigations, gather evidence, and collaborate with various agencies to ensure justice is served.

Responsibilities

Exposure to evidence relating to Child Abuse.
Locate, Trace, and Support survivors of historic Sexual abuse.
Obtain witness evidence through written statements.
Undertake investigative enquiries and evidence collection.
Ensure investigations are conducted inline with national guidelines.

Qualifications

PIP 2 qualified (Fully accredited).
Previous/current experience as DC or PSIO.
Experience of working with CPS and judiciary.
Excellent communication and IT skills.
Self-motivation and decision-making skills.
