Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a dynamic SEN school in North West London.

Responsibilities

Providing one-on-one and group support to students with ASD, focusing on their individual needs and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
Assisting in the development and implementation of personalised learning plans for each student.
Employing effective behaviour management techniques to help students regulate their emotions and engage positively in the learning environment.
Collaborating with teaching staff and professionals to implement specialised interventions.
Promoting social interaction and communication skills among students with ASD.
Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to the teaching team.

Qualifications

Previous experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Patience, resilience, and a genuine desire to support students with challenging behaviours.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant qualifications in Education or SEN.
