Job Description

Join a fantastic primary school in Lambeth, near Balham Station, as a dedicated One-to-One Teaching Assistant supporting a Year 3 student with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).

Responsibilities

Provide tailored support to a Year 3 student with MLD.
Work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement effective learning strategies.
Assist with academic tasks, communication, and social development.
Create a nurturing environment to encourage progress.
Monitor and report on student's progress.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in SEN support.
Understanding of MLD and strategies to support children with additional needs.
Patience, empathy, and positive attitude towards learning.
Strong communication skills.
Valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
