Job Description

A teaching assistant is needed for a special educational needs (SEN) school for students aged 4-19 in North London. Willingness to do personal care is preferred for this Teaching Assistant role.

Responsibilities

Implementing positive behaviour management strategies to maintain a safe learning environment.
Using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage focus and self-control.
Assisting teachers with alternative teaching methods to encourage joint working and communication skills.
Being aware of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

Qualifications

The right to work in the UK.
A clear and up-to-date DBS.
A genuine passion for supporting SEN students.
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant with students affected by ASD, SLD, and PMLD.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
