Job Description

Monarch Education is seeking an experienced Reception Teacher to work in a vibrant primary school setting in Saltley. The role involves full class teacher responsibilities and planning until the end of the academic year 2026.

Responsibilities

Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons across all subjects in the Early Years Curriculum
Assess and track pupil progress through observations, assessments, and evaluations
Provide feedback to pupils and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
Follow safeguarding and child protection guidelines
Foster an inclusive classroom atmosphere

Qualifications

Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Early Years, preferably in Reception
Outstanding knowledge of Early Years and Primary National Curriculum
Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
Effective classroom management skills
Use formative and summative assessment methods
