Neilson Financial Services is seeking a mid-level Internal Communications & PR Manager to drive our internal communications strategy and support partner-facing messaging.
Internal Magazine (Wild Life): Lead the production of the company?s internal magazine Wild Life for all locations. Plan content calendars, coordinate contributions (stories, interviews, features) from various departments, write and edit articles, and oversee design and distribution. Ensure the magazine reflects company culture and celebrates employee achievements to boost engagement.
Executive Communications: Support the C-suite in drafting and sending company-wide communications. This includes writing clear, engaging email announcements, newsletters, and memos on behalf of executives (CEO, COO, etc.), such as policy updates, organizational changes, and success stories. Ensure tone and messaging are consistent with leadership?s voice and company values.
...Required Skills and Experience
Education & Background: Bachelor?s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Ideally 3-5 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or PR, preferably in a mid-sized or large organization.
Writing and Editing: Exceptional written communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to craft compelling narratives and clear messages for diverse audiences. Experience in ghost writing or drafting messages for senior executives is a strong plus.
