Job Description

The Disability and Inclusion Manager is responsible for managing and delivering support services for students with disabilities and long-term medical conditions at the university. They ensure students can fully engage with their studies by providing necessary support and removing barriers to education.

Responsibilities

Contribute to strategy and initiatives promoting inclusion
Provide support and guidance to students and staff on disability-related matters
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on disability and inclusion in higher education
Manage a Disability and Inclusion Adviser

Qualifications

Experience in disability support, preferably in higher education
Knowledge of support and funding mechanisms for students in the UK
Ability to develop policy and build positive relationships with staff and students
