Job Description

Join a tech company in the UAE as they seek a seasoned MLRO to lead their AML/CTF program and oversee the FCA registration process for a cryptocurrency exchange.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the registered Money Laundering Reporting Officer MLRO under the Money Laundering Regulations.
  • Lead the FCA registration process for the crypto exchange.
  • Develop and implement a robust AML/CTF framework.
  • Oversee CDD, EDD, and ongoing monitoring processes.
  • Report Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to the NCA.
  • Deliver AML/CTF training and prepare reports for senior management.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an MLRO or Deputy MLRO.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK AML/CTF regulations.
  • Experience with blockchain analytics tools.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Compliance, or related field.
