Job Description

Join us as a Residential Children's Services Team Leader at Headway Adolescent Resources in Langford. Lead and manage a team of Residential Support Workers to provide high-quality childcare for young people.

Responsibilities

Ensure the needs of young people in care are met and provide a positive living experience
Manage and lead Residential Support Workers to maintain high-quality childcare standards
Comply with safeguarding policies, legislation, and best practices
Support multi-agency working and positive relationships with stakeholders
Encourage young people's participation in decision-making processes

Qualifications

Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent
Knowledge of Child Care legislation and quality standards
Experience working with young people with challenging behavior
Strong communication and leadership skills
Good understanding of child protection procedures
