Join the Environment Agency as a Senior Technical Advisor - Senior Authorized Person to provide expert engineering advice, lead high voltage system maintenance, and ensure the reliability of operational infrastructure and supply systems.

Responsibilities

Act as a Senior Authorized Person for high voltage switching
Lead high voltage system maintenance and testing
Provide technical advice to the Engineering Manager
Lead specific engineering programs and strategies
Undertake a Thames Barrier Incident Role
Explore and introduce new technology

Qualifications

Chartered Engineer with CEng qualification
Experience with high voltage switching and maintenance
Knowledge of Electrical Standards and Regulations
Experience in managing maintenance contracts
