Job Description

As the Recruitment and Onboarding Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to the Volunteer Experience team, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for volunteers in Wales.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support Volunteer Onboarding Discussions (VODs) across different counties.
  • Process successful VOD applications and support volunteers through onboarding.
  • Schedule and manage DBS verification appointments.
  • Maintain onboarding progress tracker and update personnel records.
  • Administer references and DBS checks for new volunteers.
  • Generate and distribute ID cards for new volunteers.
  • Ensure data integrity through audits and compliance with GDPR principles.
  • Act as the first point of contact for volunteer recruitment queries.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate onboarding.
  • Support volunteer engagement by managing registrations and interests.
  • Assist PCE and Volunteer Recruitment teams as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in administrative support role.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of GDPR principles and safeguarding practices.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office and database management.
