Job Description

Join our team as a Yard Operative & Relief Driver, responsible for yard work, forklift operation, and delivery of customer orders using a pickup truck and small van. Relief driving as a Class 2 HIAB Driver is also required.

Responsibilities

Loading and unloading goods using a Forklift Truck (FLT)
Organising and maintaining the yard for efficiency and safety
Preparing and picking customer orders for delivery
Delivering materials using a pickup truck and small van
Providing cover as a Class 2 HIAB Driver when needed
Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations

Qualifications

Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence with HIAB certification
1 year experience as a Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver
FLT licence
Previous yard or warehouse experience preferred
Knowledge of manual handling and health & safety procedures
Customer service and teamwork skills
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks
