Join our team as a Senior Care Assistant to provide high-quality care in a care home setting, supporting residents and junior care staff.
Provide hands-on personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and assistance with daily living activities.
Support individuals with mobility and movement, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
Oversee meal preparation, feeding, and ensure residents' nutritional needs are met.
Lead personalized care plans implementation and monitoring.
Supervise and guide junior healthcare assistants.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report changes in residents' conditions.
Facilitate social activities and provide companionship.
Ensure cleanliness and safety of the living environment.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
Act as a point of contact for residents' families.
Proven experience as a Healthcare Assistant.
Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role within the care sector.
Strong understanding of care plans, healthcare protocols, and personal care techniques.
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to mentor and support less experienced staff.
Caring and empathetic attitude.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with IT systems for record-keeping.
Valid driving license may be beneficial.
