Job Description

Join Optical Express as a Healthcare Assistant (Surgery Assistant) in our Exeter clinic. This role includes travelling to cover other Optical Express surgery clinics and weekend work.

Responsibilities

Pre-operative testing
Patient discharging
Laser technician tasks
Coordinating patient flow
Assisting surgeon during treatments
HCA role in IOL theatre
End of treatment day activities
Reporting untoward incidents

Qualifications

Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to convey technical information
Adaptable and flexible approach to work
Excellent time management and prioritization
Professional with organizational skills
Confidentiality and discretion
