Job Description

Astor-Bannerman is seeking a Stores Person to join our expanding production team. The role involves kitting up the Bill of Materials for assembly operatives, managing stock levels, and supporting the production process.

Responsibilities

Kit up Bill of Materials for assembly operatives.
Manage KANBAN stock system reserves.
Booking in stock and storing in correct location.
Carry out regular checks on stock levels.
Inform Procurement Team of low stock levels.
Checking the goods received from Fabrication and other sources.
Providing support with quality assurance.
Updating documentation and associated systems.
Support with packing finished goods.
Keeping the area clean and tidy.
Support the Assembly Lead with various tasks.

Qualifications

Computer literate with basic software packages.
Forklift licence would be advantageous.
Experience using SAP or SAP B1 would be advantageous.
Keen eye for detail.
Ability to prioritise work and work within tight timescales.
Able to follow processes.
Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills.
Adaptable and enjoys change.
A good team player.
