Job Description

Cancer Research UK is seeking a Business Development Manager with a life science background to join the Cancer Tools department.

Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and manage in-licensing activities for life science reagents and research tools.
Build and maintain relationships with academic community for in-licensing opportunities.
Manage a portfolio of accounts within specific regions.
Develop external relationships and achieve annual KPIs through business development.
Lead and manage a team of Business Development Associates.
Promote CancerTools to external parties through various channels.

Qualifications

BSc in Life Science or relevant discipline, MSc or PhD preferred.
Experience in technology transfer environment.
Proven success in commercialization of life science technology.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
