Job Description

Immunocore is seeking a Senior Bioinformatician to provide expertise in the analysis and data management of translational biomarker data. The individual will analyze transcriptomic and genomic sequencing data from clinical trials, develop tools for data interpretation, and contribute to scientific publications.

Responsibilities

Conduct analysis of transcriptomic and genomic sequencing data
Mine public data and design in-house experiments
Develop custom tools for data interpretation
Contribute to abstracts and manuscripts
Maintain technical knowledge through self-study and training
Follow company's Health and Safety policies

Qualifications

Proficiency in R/BioConductor, Linux OS, and shell scripting
Programming skills in at least one language, preferably Python
Understanding of molecular biology, cell biology, or immunology
Experience in independent research or professional setting
Experience with NGS analytical pipelines
