Job Description

Join Johnsons Cars as a Management Accountant at our Volkswagen Dealership in Birmingham. Produce accurate monthly and annual management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and support accounting functions. Take control of payroll, react to auditors' requests, and prepare forecasts and plans.

Responsibilities

Produce accurate monthly and annual management accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Supervise sales administration staff and accounting functions
Prepare monthly payroll return and address staff queries
React to auditors' requests and control year end returns
Prepare forecasts and plans as dictated by the group and VW
Complete VW composite returns to deadlines
Follow company procedures on debtor meetings and debt collection

Qualifications

Hold CIMA/ACCA or QBE qualifications
Highly computer literate in Excel and Word
Experience of Kerridge DMS
Team Leading skills
2-5 years accountant experience
