Job Description

The Student Engagement Officer at Chelsea Champion will be responsible for delivering pastoral, wellbeing, and diversionary activities to enhance emotional wellbeing and build resilience in young people.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a range of pastoral, wellbeing, sports, and diversionary activities within the Community and Academic timetables
  • Work closely with staff at Fulham Cross Academy to coordinate the delivery of all Chelsea Champions projects
  • Act as a mentor for young people, providing support and signposting to advice and guidance services
  • Deliver schemes of work for the personal development of pupils and families at Fulham Cross Academy
  • Collaborate with other Chelsea Champions to develop initiatives supporting young people's emotional wellbeing and resilience

Qualifications

  • Youth Worker Level 2 Qualification (Desirable)
  • Teaching or mentoring Qualifications (Desirable)
  • Level 2 Sports Coaching Qualification, Emergency Aid, and Safeguarding Children Certificates (Desirable)
