Job Description

The Department of Music at Goldsmiths, University of London is seeking a Lecturer in Music Performance to teach performance modules, provide academic guidance, and develop external partnerships to enrich student experience.

Responsibilities

Convene and teach performance modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels

Develop co-curricular performance activity to enrich student experience

Act as a Personal Tutor to provide academic and pastoral guidance

Develop external partnerships to bring students into contact with a wide range of musics and professional experiences

Qualifications

Evidence specialism in experimental music histories and futures, site-specific and/or networked performance methods, or technologically expanded performance practices

Experience in teaching in Higher Education or equivalent

Student-centered approach focused on realizing student creative potential
