Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing logistics, supervising staff, and ensuring the continuous improvement of warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient logistics and workflow.
Manage shipping and receiving processes, including the coordination of deliveries and inventory control.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Oversee the use of forklifts and other equipment, ensuring safe operation by all staff.
Maintain accurate records within the warehouse management system, tracking inventory levels and movements.
Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimise inventory management and fulfilment processes.
Prepare reports on warehouse performance, including profit loss analysis and operational metrics.
Train, mentor, and develop warehouse staff to foster a productive work environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of logistics principles and supply chain operations.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control practices.
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
Proficient in operating forklifts; certification is an advantage.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
