Job Description

Stellar Heavy Industries UK is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to oversee and ensure the quality of MEP installations, focusing on Mechanical and Electrical Systems. The role involves implementing quality procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with UK standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor QA/QC procedures for MEP systems
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks on MEP installations
  • Review MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
  • Perform site audits and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met
  • Document QA/QC records, test reports, and approvals
  • Assist in commissioning and handover procedures
  • Resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure adherence to UK MEP regulations and safety standards

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering
  • Proven experience in QA/QC for MEP systems in construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of MEP quality standards and inspection processes
  • Familiarity with UK regulations and industry best practices
  • Experience in NCR management and corrective action implementation
  • Ability to review technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Valid work permit to work in the UK
