Job Description

Join our team as a Senior Support Worker for the Complex Trauma Pathway at B&NES CAMHS in Keynsham. Assist clinicians in delivering trauma-informed interventions and supporting young people and families through psychoeducational materials and therapeutic groups.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in delivering trauma-informed psychological interventions.
  • Support psychoeducational work with young people and families.
  • Co-facilitate therapeutic groups alongside clinicians.
  • Administer and analyze Routine Outcome Measures (ROMs).
  • Contribute to clinical audit and research.
  • Support training initiatives for CAMHS staff and professionals.
  • Collaborate with schools, social care, and other key services.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in a relevant subject area.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health difficulties.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in psychoeducational or group-based interventions.
  • Ability to work independently with supervision.
  • Experience in data collection, research, or audit processes.
