Job Description

<p>Join Twycross Zoo as an Animal Services Operative and play a vital role in maintaining the welfare standards for our diverse animal population. From deliveries to waste management, this role offers a unique opportunity to work in a conservation-focused environment.</p>

Responsibilities

Making off-site deliveries and collections
Delivering stock around the site
Unloading and signing for deliveries
Maintaining the animal department store rooms and barn
Emptying animal waste skips using the tractor and skip loader
Browse harvesting and wood chipping
Basic maintenance and cleaning of animal department vehicles

Qualifications

Full UK driving licence
Good communicator
Capacity and willingness to work outside in all weathers
Good organisation and time management skills
Experience in warehousing/stock control, grounds maintenance, forestry, agriculture
