Job Description

Join Hillingdon Council as a Social Care Officer focusing on SEND and AP strategy integration. Lead services for children and young people, ensuring compliance with legislation, standards, and safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide operational guidance for social care services for children with SEND
Develop strong partnerships within the council and external partners
Implement recommendations from SEND improvement plan
Ensure effective documentation of social care processes
Represent the council at regional and national events
Support operational management of EHC SEND Service
Promote strong partnership working across social care disciplines

Qualifications

Degree-level professional qualification and registered with SW England
Experience working with children and young people with SEND
Strong background in multi-disciplinary practices and resource optimization
Experience in managing services in compliance with legislation and standards
Successful integrated working with service and partner agencies
