Job Description

Bilfinger UK is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Nuclear to ensure project requirements are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard. This role involves overseeing engineering design scope, value engineering, and delivery at project level.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure design compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer requirements
  • Coordinate technical developments and resolve engineering design problems
  • Manage project expenditures within budget limitations
  • Approve supplier/subcontractor documentation
  • Prepare estimates for changes and coordinate delivery
  • Report on project technical scope performance
  • Ensure coordination between engineering, design work, construction, and manufacturing

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of full design project lifecycle experience
  • Minimum 5 years of Project Engineer experience
  • Minimum 3 years of working within multi-cultural Engineering teams
  • Demonstrable success in Project Engineer roles
  • Proven leadership experience in highly regulated environments
  • Eligibility to obtain SC Clearance
  • Degree in relevant engineering discipline preferred
  • Professional qualification such as Professional Engineer (PE), IEng/CEng, EUR ING
  • Project Management Qualification/Accreditation beneficial
