Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to UK and international logistics regulations within our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance risk management and a deep understanding of logistics processes.

Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret UK logistics regulations.
Develop and implement compliance policies tailored to logistics operations.
Ensure adherence to compliance standards across logistics processes.
Address non-compliance issues and provide corrective actions.
Identify and mitigate risks such as smuggling, customs fraud, or counterfeit goods.
Coordinate responses to customs audits, HMRC investigations, or data breaches.
Develop contingency plans and submit reports for compliance crises.
Deliver training programs to enhance compliance awareness within the logistics team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Law, Logistics Management, or a related field.
Preferred certifications: CIPS or IEMA.
Experience in logistics or supply chain compliance.
Knowledge of UK port operations and cross-border e-commerce logistics.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in English for effective communication.
