Job Description

This company are looking for a skilled and motivated 2nd Line Engineer to support and maintain their IT systems and provide efficient resolutions to any technical issues that may arise. You will work closely with the 1st Line Support team and escalate complex issues to the 3rd Line team when necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering top-tier service.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve a wide range of hardware and software issues.
Manage and maintain internal IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
Escalate complex issues to the 3rd Line team when required and follow through to resolution.
Document and track all support requests using the company's ticketing system.
Assist with IT projects, software deployments, and system upgrades.
Monitor system performance and take proactive steps to ensure optimal efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a 2nd Line IT Support role or similar.
Experience with O356 Suite.
Virtualisation experience, such as VMWare/Hyper-v.
Networking experience, including DNS/DHCP.
IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) are a plus.
