Job Description

Join our team at Formby Manor Care Centre as a Team Leader - Nights. We are dedicated to providing the highest standards of safety, comfort, and care to our residents with various care needs including residential, nursing, and dementia care.

Responsibilities

  • Promote person-centred clinical nursing care
  • Manage and supervise the care team
  • Demonstrate and model person-centred care delivery
  • Safeguard the welfare of residents
  • Oversee the delivery of personalised care
  • Support professional standards within the home
  • Provide supervision and assessment to Care Assistants
  • Manage care plans, records, and daily rotas
  • Build relationships with external professionals
  • Assist in regular quality audits of care plans

Qualifications

  • Medication management and administration experience
  • Experience working with older people
  • NVQ Level 2 in Social Care or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 3 in Social Care or equivalent within 12 months
  • Knowledge of care principles in residential/nursing settings
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-motivation and confidence
