Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Nurse to join the Mental Health team at HMP Lewes, a category B men's prison. The role involves assessment and ongoing management of patients' mental health needs, working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team, and contributing to nursing strategy and vision.

Responsibilities

Assessment and ongoing management of patients' mental health needs
Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to develop holistic health care plans
Contribute to nursing strategy and vision
Deliver non-judgemental care and build therapeutic relationships
Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care

Qualifications

Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, or Nurse - HCPC/NMC Registered
Experience in mental health settings
High standard of patient assessment and risk assessment
Continued Professional Development
Experience working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment
