Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Civils Buyer to join a reputable Civil Engineering company in Berkshire. The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing materials and sub-contractor services for Commercial, Residential, and Infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Work with colleagues in Estimating and Quantity Surveying
Source and purchase construction materials and supplies
Negotiate contracts with suppliers
Monitor supplier performance

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar Buyer role within Civil Engineering/Construction
Knowledge of procurement software is a plus
Ability to extract material quantities from construction drawings
Proficient in MS Office
