Join Gallagher's global brokerage team as a Payroll Specialist. Assist with processing monthly payroll, managing ledgers, preparing annual returns, and implementing salary changes for staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Produce monthly payroll accurately and timely
  • Manage salaries control ledger
  • Reconcile tax balances monthly
  • Administer season ticket arrangements
  • Assist with year-end processes
  • Handle telephone inquiries
  • Liaise with other departments
  • Stay updated on payroll legislation
  • Maintain compliance with standards
  • Provide assistance to employees
  • Carry out duties following policies

Qualifications

  • Detailed understanding of payroll
  • Oracle Payroll/HR software expertise
  • Banking and accounting knowledge
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Oracle software
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
