Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Head of ACE Midsize Markets Medical Affairs at Kite within the Cell Therapy area. Lead all aspects of the Medical Affairs organization in the Midsize Markets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop alignment of the Kite Medical Affairs country teams to the Kite ACE and Global Medical Affairs core strategy
  • Lead, manage, and develop the Kite Medical Affairs country/cluster teams
  • Manage budget HC & Opex for the region
  • Represent the MidSize markets in the ACE Medical Affairs team
  • Develop and oversee regional medical strategies
  • Work closely with commercial and market access
  • Liaise with Gilead Country Medical Directors and the Head of Gilead Midsize Markets Medical Affairs
  • Coordinate activities with Clinical Research and Clinical Operations
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key professional scientific and medical communities
  • Participate in regional and international meetings, congresses, and symposia
  • Drive a culture of high performance and collaboration

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree: M.D. or PharmD
  • Strong clinical and/or scientific background in hematology/oncology and cell therapy
  • Previous industry and medical affairs experience, preferably in hematology/oncology
  • Proven track record in establishing strategic relationships with opinion leaders in Hematology
  • Experience in people leadership/management at country or international level
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English
