Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Civil Design Engineer to join our design function in Glasgow. The role involves managing the production of engineering design deliverables for multi-disciplinary projects, focusing on Civil structures for Water and Wastewater sites.

Responsibilities

Manage projects in the design and optioneering phases
Liaise with clients to understand requirements
Prepare Civil/Structural design calculations
Supervise CAD/BIM team for design drawings
Deliver technical excellence and quality
Adhere to CDM Regulations
Support site teams during Construction Phase

Qualifications

3-5 years of design experience in civil engineering or construction
Good understanding of structural theory
Proven problem-solving ability
Technical design expertise using British and/or Eurocodes
Accredited degree in Civil Engineering or similar
