Job Description

A leading law firm in Birmingham is seeking a Revenue Controller/Credit Controller to join their Finance Team. The role involves maximizing working capital for all practice areas and providing key stakeholders with data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

Drive lock-up management across all practice areas
Provide analysis on WIP and debtors
Offer guidance on billing best practices
Review billing profiles for practice areas
Conduct meetings with partners to review WIP, disbursements, and debtors
Prepare and distribute client WIP/Debtor statements and reports
Resolve client and fee earner queries on unpaid debts

Qualifications

Experience in revenue, billing, or credit control within the legal sector
Accountancy or finance experience in a law firm focusing on WIP management
Strong relationship-building skills
Proficiency in Excel
