As an Assistant Store Manager at Matalan, you will support the Store Manager to exceed sales and profit targets, develop a high performing team, drive an inspiring VM proposition, and ensure excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

Drive store performance and exceed sales targets
Lead and develop a high performing team
Ensure stock availability and drive an inspiring VM proposition
Coach the team to deliver an excellent customer experience
Drive performance, development, and succession planning
Ensure compliance and audit activities are completed
Complete regular performance reviews and encourage feedback
Follow VM guide to deliver an inspirational shopping experience

Qualifications

Previous retail management experience
Proven track record of delivering high standards and KPIs
Strong leadership and communication skills
Good analytical and data interpretation skills
Ability to develop others
