Job Description

Join East Sussex County Council as a Fair Trading Officer to help protect consumers and promote fair trading practices. Work with partner organizations and enforce consumer protection legislation.

Responsibilities

Interpret and enforce consumer protection legislation
Collaborate with partner organizations
Conduct inspections, sampling, and investigations
Provide advice and education on fair trading practices

Qualifications

Experience in enforcement or consumer protection
Knowledge of trading standards or regulatory environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
