Smart Teachers is seeking an ambitious and passionate Subject Leader of Religious Education to join a high-performing secondary school in London. This role involves leading the RE department, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, and contributing to whole-school initiatives.
Leading the RE department with responsibility for curriculum development, teaching quality and student outcomes.
Teaching RE across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to expand provision at Key Stage 5.
Embedding inclusive, thought-provoking learning that reflects the school?s diverse and multicultural community.
Supporting whole-school initiatives around values, personal development and SMSC.
Mentoring team members and contributing to middle leadership across the school.
Holds QTS and has strong experience teaching Religious Education in a UK secondary setting.
Brings a thoughtful, inclusive and reflective approach to curriculum leadership.
Demonstrates high expectations and the ability to inspire and challenge students of all abilities.
Keen to support students? wider development through assemblies, enrichment and debate.
Has a collaborative mindset and values professional growth.
