Job Description

Join our team at Wirral University Teaching Hospital as a Frailty Team Leader. We are dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients and serve a population of approximately 400,000 people across Wirral, Ellesmere Port, Neston, North Wales, and the wider North West footprint.

Responsibilities

Main duties of the job:

Day to day management of the Specialist Nurses for Older People
Co-ordinate, allocate and prioritise workload efficiently
Train, supervise and appraise staff
Manage first line sickness absence
Maintain quality of work within the SNOP service
Implement, co-ordinate, and monitor training and competence records
Collaborate with clinical team members for efficient frailty service
Undertake formal and informal teaching sessions as required

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Current NMC registration
Post registration course in specialty
Degree or working towards degree level
Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience
Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in specialty setting
