Job Description

Join Arriva Enfield London as an Assistant Engineering Manager (AEM) / Workshop Manager. Play a pivotal role in supporting the Garage Engineering Manager to ensure the efficient operation of workshops and maintain high service standards.

Responsibilities

Ensure depot security and staff adherence to safety practices.
Lead and supervise the team for efficient and safe vehicle maintenance.
Oversee task distribution and work with Chargehands to meet targets.
Manage work records, provide reports, and identify improvements in fleet reliability.
Contribute to waste reduction and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

Strong engineering background in maintenance, repair, and overhaul of heavy vehicles.
Recognized apprenticeship or vocational qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering.
In-depth knowledge of health & safety regulations and strong leadership skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Experience in the Bus/HGV industry is preferred.
