Job Description

Seeking a hands-on Payroll Manager to take full ownership of the payroll function in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Ideal for a confident payroll professional with solid experience.

Responsibilities

Running weekly and monthly payroll for both salaried and hourly-paid staff
Processing all types of pay including overtime, bonuses, and ad-hoc payments
Maintaining payroll records and updating starters, leavers, and employee changes
Leading payroll-related projects and system enhancements
Ensuring compliance with HMRC, PAYE, NIC, RTI, NMW, and pension regulations

Qualifications

Solid experience in a Payroll Manager or senior payroll role
Strong working knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance
High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
CIPP qualification or membership (preferred but not essential)
