Seeking a skilled Interim Management Accountant to join the Finance team on a short-term contract, covering paternity leave for a global transport business unit.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee month-end close and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Review and approve key journals with strong audit trail
  • Manage general ledger reconciliations with supporting documentation
  • Ensure compliance with various financial requirements
  • Lead a small team of finance professionals
  • Support audits and ad-hoc finance projects
  • Liaise with stakeholders across finance departments

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
  • Strong month-end close & reporting skills
  • Confident managing small teams and stakeholder relationships
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven
  • SAP experience desirable
