Job Description

Helpline Shift Managers provide supervision and training to helpline operators and volunteers. They offer support and advice to staff, manage daily operations, and ensure health and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Manage staffing and offer support to helpline operators
  • Supervise and provide advice to volunteers
  • Promote Helpline Service across Wales
  • Maintain literature library for callers
  • Provide telephone cover for overflow calls
  • Maintain daily reports for service
  • Ensure day-to-day health and safety

Qualifications

  • Experience in office environment and managing teams
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of mental health, dementia, substance use/misuse
