Elevate Supply is partnering with a specialist SEN school in South Sheffield to hire an experienced SEN Teacher focusing on complex needs. Ideal for those dedicated to supporting students with profound learning difficulties and associated medical needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver bespoke lessons tailored to EHCPs
Lead a team to support pupils with diverse needs
Use strategies like Makaton and sensory integration
Create a nurturing learning environment
Collaborate with therapists and external agencies
Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reviews
Maintain communication with families

Qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience with complex learning and physical needs
Knowledge of PMLD, SLD, and medical care plans
Skills in alternative communication methods
Flexible and empathetic teaching approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
