Job Description

Newcastle University Library is looking for a Library Buildings and Facilities Manager to oversee the operational management of library buildings and facilities to ensure they are maintained to a high standard.

Responsibilities

Regular monitoring and maintenance of library spaces
Leading health, safety, and security activities across all library sites
Managing a team of Library Attendants and Customer Services Coordinators
Collating and reporting on data to inform service development

Qualifications

Significant experience in facilities management
Experience in managing teams delivering high-quality customer services
Strong organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of health and safety legislation
